Salute to the Founder.
The Founder Mr. Abdul Hakim Ansari (late) with his inherent and ingrained family trait, took a humble start in the universal and richest art of weaving silks from Banars Town, Karachi during the post independence of Indo-Pak era. He used his knowledge, wisdom and skillful artisan to produce finest quality all over dress materials and sarees to come out of the BANARSI looms. In the wake of his periodic excursion into innovation, each of his collection - like a masterpiece of art –brought about excellent market credibility to his name. That winning streak was handed down to his son Mr. Abdul Rahim Ansari who patronized the business operations under the banner of Banarsi. Living up to his family trait, he not only proved “the chip of the old block" but” the chip of the old block" but Undertook aggressive moves to turn his business around. Leading from the front, he worked out the strategy to improve upon manufacturing volume and customer value and implemented it through a phased program. As a first step in the implementation task, he remodeled and distributed the chain of command to his brothers required in different strategic business areas. This ensured the company's operations under more stable and predictable working environment as:

Banarsi has its presence with a competitive edge in the richest commercial avenues of Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad catering to the latest fashion. The growing demand of its fabric is the driving force to go for more geographic coverage in near future as it proclaims that: "Our idea of fashion is universal"
SLIVER SILK INDUSTRY
Silver Silk Industry-is the rich weaving center of Banarsi -Al-Rahim Brothers located at Banaras Town, Karachi with fleet of Banarsi Handlooms. This setup fulfills all the basic requirements in the task of weaving sarees and dress material conforming to the quality criteria of the customers.Organzine thread as basic raw material is used to weave the base fabric. Weaving of Brocades with intricate designs using Gold & Silver threads have been our specialty. Gold & Silver threads are used along with or without organzine threads, thrust either as special weft or warp to create glittering raised ornamentation. To name a few, Jamdani, Jangla, Jamawaar, Tan Choi, Tissue, Cutwork, Butidar are the different techniques employed to weave sarees and dress materials with special & ethnic designs for bridal & party wear. Stringent quality control at every sequence of weaving is ensured by our team of Production Supervisors.Silver Silk Industry is proud of its large number of weavers who not only kept alive their traditional skills but also played a profound role in cultivating customers' confidence and loyalty to our brand name - Banarsi Al-Rahim Brothers
